These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by The Glam Mafia Inc. By booking or using our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
All terms stated herein are established for legal protection and clarity of operations. While these Terms and Conditions define the formal structure of our agreements, The Glam Mafia Inc. is committed to prioritizing client satisfaction and experience. The company aims to act reasonably and fairly in all situations and, where possible, will work in the client’s best interest.
The Glam Mafia Inc. makes every effort to ensure that services meet or exceed expectations and that the desired results are achieved to the highest possible standard. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, service concerns or abnormal situations, The Glam Mafia Inc. will make reasonable efforts to provide a fair and satisfactory resolution, including facilitating communication, adjustments or alternative solutions including issuing of full refund where appropriate.
Nothing in this section shall be interpreted as a waiver of the legal protections outlined in these Terms and Conditions.
The Glam Mafia Inc. provides professional beauty services including, but not limited to, bridal makeup and hairstyling services, special event makeup and hairstyling services, editorial and photoshoot makeup and hairstyling services, group bookings for weddings and private events and professional makeup classes for groups or individual clients. Services are available for individuals and groups and may be customized based on client needs, event type and schedule.
Services are coordinated through The Glam Mafia Inc. and performed by independent contractors. Services may be delivered on-location at the client’s residence, hotel, venue or other agreed location, or at a designated studio space where applicable. The Glam Mafia Inc. operates across Ontario and provides services throughout Canada, subject to availability, travel logistics and applicable fees. For out-of-province bookings, additional terms may apply including travel, accommodation and scheduling requirements.
All services are delivered using professional-grade products and industry-standard techniques and sanitization practices. While The Glam Mafia Inc. makes reasonable efforts to work with experienced professionals and monitor general standards, it does not supervise or guarantee full compliance of contractors with all health, safety or regulatory requirements at all times. Specific brands or products are selected at the discretion of the contractor based on skin type, hair condition, environmental factors and desired outcome. The client is responsible for notifying the artist of any allergies, sensitivities or concerns prior to service.
Trial sessions for bridal or event services may be offered and are strongly recommended but are not mandatory unless specified in the service agreement. Trial sessions are treated as separate bookings and are subject to their own fees and scheduling and do not guarantee identical results on the event date.
The Glam Mafia Inc. reserves the right to assign artists based on availability, expertise and project requirements. All contractors operate under general company standards to promote consistency in quality and service delivery.
Service duration, start times and completion timelines are estimates based on the number of clients and selected services. The Glam Mafia Inc. is not responsible for delays caused by client readiness, third-party vendors, venue restrictions or external factors.
Certain services may require minimum booking amounts, particularly for weekends, peak seasons or travel-based bookings. These requirements will be communicated at the time of inquiry or booking.
The Glam Mafia Inc. reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services in situations where working conditions are unsafe, unsanitary or inappropriate, or where client or participant behavior is deemed disruptive, abusive, or where individuals are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
All bookings with The Glam Mafia Inc. require a completed booking form or signed service agreement and a non-refundable deposit equal to 50% of the total service amount. The deposit secures the requested date, time and artist allocation. Until the deposit is received, the requested date remains open and may be released to other clients without notice.
Deposits are applied toward the total service cost. For weddings, cancellations made at least 60 days prior to the scheduled date are eligible for a full refund of all payments made, including the deposit. Cancellations or rescheduling made less than 60 days before the event will result in forfeiture of the deposit. For all other events and services, cancellations made at least 14 days prior to the scheduled date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 14 days will result in forfeiture of the deposit. Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
The remaining 50% balance must be paid in full on the day of the scheduled event, wedding or appointment, prior to the commencement of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. For bookings made on short notice, full payment may be required at the time of booking.
For larger group bookings, destination weddings or multi-day services, The Glam Mafia Inc. reserves the right to require staged payments or a higher deposit percentage, which will be clearly outlined in the service agreement.
Any additions or changes after booking confirmation, including additional clients, time extensions or location changes, are subject to availability and may require updated pricing and an additional deposit. Reductions in services or group size after booking may still be subject to the original quoted minimum or pricing.
All payments must be made through approved methods, specifically e-transfer or direct deposit. The Glam Mafia Inc. reserves the right to decline or cancel bookings where payment cannot be verified or completed.
All accessories and merchandise provided or sold by The Glam Mafia Inc., including items purchased through the website or as part of a service package, are final sale and non-refundable. In the event of a cancellation, any delivery, handling, or logistics costs associated with such items will still apply and may be charged to the client.
By submitting a deposit, the client confirms acceptance of all terms, including payment, cancellation and rescheduling policies.
The Glam Mafia Inc. accepts payments exclusively via e-transfer or direct deposit. No other payment methods are accepted unless explicitly approved in writing.
A deposit equal to 50% of the total service amount is required at the time of booking to secure the date and services. The remaining 50% balance must be paid in full on the day of the scheduled event, wedding or appointment, prior to the commencement of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
A receipt for all payments will be issued within 24 hours of payment confirmation. In most cases, receipts are issued within 2 hours when payment is received during standard business hours, defined as Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Toronto time).
Failure to complete payment as required may result in refusal to commence or complete services, without refund of any amounts previously paid.
For wedding bookings, cancellations made at least 60 days prior to the scheduled date are eligible for a full refund of all payments made, including the deposit. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 60 days before the event will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
For all other events and services, cancellations made at least 14 days prior to the scheduled date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 14 days of the service date will result in forfeiture of the deposit. Rescheduling requests made within 14 days of the service date may incur additional charges.
Any additional services, last-minute changes or extensions requested by the client must be paid in full prior to execution and may be subject to additional charges.
All merchandise and accessories purchased through The Glam Mafia Inc., including items sold via the website, are final sale and non-refundable. In the event of a cancellation, any associated delivery, handling or logistics costs related to such items will still apply and may be charged to the client.
The Glam Mafia Inc. reserves the right to suspend or refuse services where payment terms are not met or where transactions cannot be verified.
Clients are responsible for providing a clean, safe, sanitary and suitable environment for all services to be performed. The service area must include adequate lighting, appropriate seating, sufficient workspace and access to power outlets where required. For on-location services, the client must ensure timely and unobstructed access to the premises, including parking arrangements where applicable.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that all individuals receiving services are present, ready and available at the scheduled start time. Delays caused by the client or members of their party may result in reduced service time or incomplete services without any adjustment in pricing. The Glam Mafia Inc. is not responsible for delays caused by other vendors, event schedules or venue restrictions.
Clients must disclose any allergies, skin conditions, sensitivities, medical conditions or recent treatments that may affect the application of products or services. The Glam Mafia Inc. is not liable for any reactions, injuries or outcomes resulting from undisclosed or inaccurately disclosed conditions.
Clients are responsible for maintaining appropriate behavior throughout the service. The Glam Mafia Inc. reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services in cases of unsafe, unsanitary, disruptive, abusive or inappropriate conditions or conduct, including but not limited to harassment, intoxication or interference with the artist’s ability to perform the service. In such cases, no refunds will be issued.
The client is responsible for securing personal belongings, valuables and event attire. The Glam Mafia Inc. is not liable for any loss, damage or theft of personal items, or for incidental damage to clothing, accessories or property that may occur during normal service delivery.
The client must ensure that the working environment complies with all applicable health and safety standards. The Glam Mafia Inc. reserves the right to refuse service if conditions are deemed hazardous, including but not limited to exposure to smoke, extreme temperatures, poor ventilation, unsafe surfaces or presence of aggressive animals.
For group bookings, the client is responsible for coordinating participants, maintaining schedule flow and ensuring readiness of each individual. Any deviation from the agreed schedule may impact the ability to complete all services.
Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving services upon completion. Any concerns must be raised immediately during or at the time of service. Once the service is completed and the artist has departed, the service will be deemed accepted.
Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in delays, additional charges or termination of services without refund.
Travel fees may apply depending on the service location, distance, number of artists required and overall logistics. Any applicable travel fees will be communicated and agreed upon prior to booking confirmation. Additional costs such as parking, tolls, valet, permits or venue access fees will be charged to the client.
For services outside of the local service area or province, the client is responsible for covering all reasonable travel-related expenses, including but not limited to transportation, accommodation and per diem where applicable. Travel arrangements may be coordinated by The Glam Mafia Inc. or required to be arranged directly by the client, as outlined in the service agreement.
Clients must ensure timely, safe and unobstructed access to the service location, including loading areas, elevators and security clearance if required. Any delays in access, venue restrictions or scheduling limitations may impact service delivery and completion times without adjustment in pricing.
The client is responsible for ensuring that the service environment meets basic working conditions, including adequate space, lighting, climate control and cleanliness. The Glam Mafia Inc. reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if the location is deemed unsafe, unsanitary or unsuitable.
For early morning start times or remote locations, additional fees may apply and may require overnight accommodation. Where applicable, minimum booking requirements may also apply for travel-based services.
The Glam Mafia Inc. is not responsible for delays, cancellations or interruptions caused by traffic conditions, weather, transportation issues or venue-related restrictions. In such cases, reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate adjustments where possible.
Any changes to the service location after booking confirmation must be communicated in advance and may result in additional charges or require approval based on feasibility.
By confirming a booking that involves travel or on-location services, the client agrees to all applicable travel terms, fees and logistical requirements.
Clients must disclose any allergies, skin conditions, sensitivities, medical conditions or recent treatments that may affect the application of beauty products or services prior to the appointment. Failure to disclose such information releases The Glam Mafia Inc. from any liability related to adverse reactions, injuries or unsatisfactory results.
All services are performed by independent contractors who are responsible for maintaining their own hygiene standards, tools, products and application practices. While The Glam Mafia Inc. makes reasonable efforts to work with experienced professionals and monitor general standards, it does not supervise or guarantee full compliance with all health, sanitation, licensing or regulatory requirements at all times.
Clients acknowledge that cosmetic products may cause reactions, including but not limited to irritation, allergic responses or sensitivities, even when professional-grade products are used. The Glam Mafia Inc. does not guarantee compatibility of any product with a client’s skin or hair.
It is the client’s responsibility to request a patch test in advance if they have known sensitivities or concerns. Patch tests are not automatically included unless specifically requested and scheduled.
Clients must ensure that the service environment is safe, sanitary and suitable for application. The Glam Mafia Inc. reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services in conditions that pose health or safety risks, including but not limited to unsanitary environments, presence of illness, exposure to smoke, poor ventilation or unsafe surroundings.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that all individuals receiving services are in suitable condition to proceed, including being free from contagious conditions that may pose a risk to the artist or others. Services will not be provided to individuals who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or whose condition may compromise safety, service quality or the ability of the artist to perform the service properly.
The Glam Mafia Inc. is not liable for any injuries, damages or health-related issues arising during or after services, including those related to contractor performance, product use or environmental conditions.
By proceeding with services, the client acknowledges and accepts all inherent risks associated with beauty applications and releases The Glam Mafia Inc. from any related claims.
While every effort is made to achieve desired results, outcomes may vary based on individual factors including but not limited to skin type, hair texture, condition, tone, sensitivities, prior treatments and environmental conditions such as humidity, temperature and lighting. The Glam Mafia Inc. does not guarantee specific results, longevity of wear or exact replication of reference images.
All services are performed by independent contractors who exercise professional judgment in adapting techniques, products and styles to suit each client. As a result, final outcomes may differ from inspiration photos, consultations or prior trials. The Glam Mafia Inc. will ensure that all reasonable and necessary adjustments are made during the service to achieve a result as close as possible to the client’s desired outcome.
The Glam Mafia Inc. does not guarantee service duration, wear time or resistance to external factors such as weather, physical activity, perspiration or exposure to water. Maintenance of the final look after completion of the service is the responsibility of the client.
Trial sessions, where offered, are intended as a guideline and do not guarantee identical results on the event day due to variations in conditions, timing, products or artist assignment.
The Glam Mafia Inc. is not responsible for limitations caused by the client’s natural features, existing conditions, previous chemical treatments, use of incompatible products or refusal to follow professional recommendations.
Timing for services is estimated and may vary depending on client readiness, complexity of the requested look and external factors. The Glam Mafia Inc. does not guarantee completion times where delays are outside of its control.
By booking services, the client acknowledges that beauty services are subjective and results may vary and agrees that no refunds will be provided based on dissatisfaction with subjective outcomes.
The Glam Mafia Inc. operates as a booking and coordination agency and engages independent contractors to perform all beauty services. All artists and specialists are independent professionals with verified experience and portfolios and are not employees, partners or agents of The Glam Mafia Inc.
The Glam Mafia Inc. does not assume liability for the acts, errors, omissions, conduct or performance of any independent contractor. All services are provided solely under the responsibility of the assigned contractor, including product selection, hygiene practices, application techniques and service execution.
While The Glam Mafia Inc. makes reasonable efforts to vet contractors and monitor general standards, including product quality and professional practices, it does not supervise, control or guarantee full compliance of any contractor with all health, safety, licensing or regulatory requirements at all times. The Glam Mafia Inc. makes no warranties or guarantees regarding the products used or the methods applied by contractors.
The Glam Mafia Inc. does not carry insurance on behalf of independent contractors and is not responsible for any claims, damages, injuries, allergic reactions, losses or adverse outcomes resulting from services performed. Clients acknowledge that any such claims must be directed to the contractor providing the service.
Clients agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless The Glam Mafia Inc., its owners and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses, including legal fees, arising from or related to services performed by independent contractors.
In the event of a dispute or incident, The Glam Mafia Inc. may, at its sole discretion, assist in facilitating communication or mediation between the client and the contractor. Such involvement does not constitute acceptance of liability or responsibility.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Glam Mafia Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, loss of enjoyment, emotional distress or financial loss arising from the use of services. Any liability, where applicable, shall be strictly limited to the amount paid to The Glam Mafia Inc. for coordination or booking services only.
By booking through The Glam Mafia Inc., the client acknowledges and accepts that the company acts solely as an intermediary platform connecting clients with independent service providers.
The Glam Mafia Inc. reserves the right to capture, use and publish photos or videos of completed work for portfolio, marketing, advertising and promotional purposes, including but not limited to website content, social media, digital advertising and print materials.
By booking services, the client grants The Glam Mafia Inc. a perpetual, royalty-free and irrevocable right to use such content, provided that no sensitive personal information is disclosed. While reasonable efforts may be made to avoid identifying clients without consent, The Glam Mafia Inc. does not guarantee anonymity unless explicitly requested.
If the client does not wish to have their images used, they must notify The Glam Mafia Inc. formally by email prior to the service date. Upon receiving such request, The Glam Mafia Inc. will honor and respect the client’s preference.
The Glam Mafia Inc. is not responsible for images or content captured or shared by independent contractors, photographers, videographers or third parties. Any separate agreements with such parties are the responsibility of the client.
Clients acknowledge that content may be edited, cropped or enhanced for marketing purposes and may be used across various platforms without additional approval or compensation.
The Glam Mafia Inc. retains full ownership of all media captured by or on behalf of the company. Unauthorized use, reproduction or distribution of such content for commercial purposes without written consent is prohibited.
By proceeding with services, the client acknowledges and agrees to these terms regarding photography and marketing usage.
The Glam Mafia Inc. is not responsible for failure or delay in performing services due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to severe weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of God, illness, injury, emergencies, transportation disruptions, venue-related issues, power outages, government restrictions, public health events or any other unforeseen events that prevent service delivery.
In such cases, The Glam Mafia Inc. will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the service to a mutually agreed date or arrange a replacement artist. However, the availability of a specific artist or the original service schedule cannot be guaranteed.
If rescheduling is not possible due to circumstances beyond control, The Glam Mafia Inc. may, at its sole discretion, offer a credit, partial refund or alternative solution. Any non-recoverable costs already incurred, including but not limited to travel, accommodation or preparation expenses, may be deducted or remain non-refundable.
The Glam Mafia Inc. is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses resulting from such events, including but not limited to missed timelines, event disruptions or additional costs incurred by the client.
Clients acknowledge that in force majeure situations, flexibility may be required and standard cancellation or rescheduling terms may not apply.
By booking services, the client agrees to release The Glam Mafia Inc. from any liability arising from events beyond its reasonable control.
The Glam Mafia Inc. reserves the right to update, modify or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice, to reflect changes in business operations, legal requirements, industry standards or service offerings.
Updated Terms and Conditions will be effective immediately upon being published on the company’s website or otherwise communicated to clients. It is the client’s responsibility to review the most current version prior to booking or using services.
For existing bookings, the Terms and Conditions in effect at the time of booking will generally apply. However, The Glam Mafia Inc. reserves the right to apply updated terms where required by law, safety considerations or operational necessity.
Continued use of services, submission of payments or failure to object in writing to updated terms shall constitute acceptance of such changes.
The Glam Mafia Inc. reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions in these Terms and Conditions at any time without liability.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
Any disputes, claims or legal proceedings arising out of or related to these Terms and Conditions, the use of services, or any relationship between the client and The Glam Mafia Inc. shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario.
To the extent permitted by law, the client agrees to first attempt to resolve any dispute through good faith communication and, where applicable, mediation facilitated by The Glam Mafia Inc. prior to initiating formal legal action.
The client acknowledges that The Glam Mafia Inc. operates as an agency connecting clients with independent contractors and agrees that any claims relating to services performed must be directed to the appropriate service provider where applicable.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable under applicable law, such provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall remain valid and enforceable.
By booking services, the client agrees that any legal matters shall be handled exclusively within the Province of Ontario, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
By booking services with The Glam Mafia Inc., you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
